The Polar Atelier in Canmore, Alberta invites you to join Canadian basket artist Cathie Harper for this personal 2 evening (total 7 hours) workshop.  Using wild harvested NWT Birch bark, you will come and play with birch bark to design and create a wall hanging reminiscent of your grandmother's crazy quilts.  The various sizes, shapes and colours of birch bark "fabric" will be stitched together and adorned with embroidery stitches. 

All materials and tools provided.   Small group - limited to 4 participants ages 18+.

Hosted at The Polar Atelier, located at 509 Spring Creek Drive, Canmore AB

Wednesday AND Thursday - September 16 AND 17, 2026 from 5:30 to 9:00 PM

$80.00 (incl GST) per participant
